01 What these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and Escordium Marketing, S.A. ("Escordium", "we", "us") about your use of escordium.com and its subpages. By browsing the site or sending us a form, you accept them.

They do not govern work we do for clients. Scope, price, timelines, intellectual property, confidentiality and liability for an engagement are set out in the signed proposal or statement of work for that engagement, and those documents prevail over this page wherever the two differ.

02 Using the site

You may read the site, quote it with attribution, and contact us through it. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download it beyond ordinary search-engine indexing.
• Probe, scan or test the security of the site or the systems behind it, or try to get access you have not been granted.
• Send automated, repeated or fraudulent form submissions, or use the forms to distribute malware or unlawful content.
• Use our name, logo or copy in a way that suggests we endorse you.
• Use the site to break the law, in Cabo Verde or where you are.

If you are doing authorised security research and find something, tell us at info@escordium.com before you tell anyone else. We will not pursue you for a good-faith report.

03 Intellectual property

The design, copy, code, photography and the Escordium name and logo on this site belong to Escordium or to our licensors. You get no licence to them beyond reading the site and quoting it fairly with a credit.

Client names, logos and trade marks shown in the clients section belong to those companies, and appear with their permission to identify them as clients. Nothing there implies that they endorse Escordium's other work.

04 Enquiries, quotes and proposals

Everything on this site — service descriptions, deliverables, the phased process — is information, not an offer capable of acceptance. A price or scope becomes binding only when both sides sign a proposal.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive material through the contact form. It travels through a third-party form provider and arrives as ordinary email. If you need to share something under an NDA, say so in the form and we will put one in place first.

Unsolicited ideas you send us are not treated as confidential unless we have agreed in writing that they are.

05 Accuracy and no warranty

We keep this site accurate and current as best we can, but it is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Figures, results and timelines describe past work and are not a promise of what your project will achieve. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

06 Links to other sites

The site links to our clients' websites and to other third parties. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

07 Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Escordium is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

08 Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. What the site stores in your browser is set out in our cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.

09 Changes and availability

We may change the site, these terms, or withdraw either, at any time. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

10 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cabo Verde. Disputes arising from them fall to the competent courts of Praia, Cabo Verde, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy where you live.
